10 000 visitors, 1 000 exhibitors and 4 parallell conference stages. Space tech Expo in Bremen is where the space industry gathers to make business and exchange knowledge.
Highlights
Team Space Sweden North was there to meet industry and partners to explore collaboration opportunities together with Swedish Institute of Space Physics and Luleå University of Technology.
”It’s the place to be. This is where everyone meet and it’s great to see both long-standing business partners as well as so many former students stop by our stand to say hi”, say Maximilian Wecker and Arjun Monga from the Swedish Institute of Space Physics.
They share the stand with Luleå University of Technology’s Olle Persson and Rene Laufer, to showcase the research capabilities and opportunities in Kiruna, including the spacemasters, highly popular among international students aspiring to a career in the space industry.
What we bring into 2026
👉 We need a new mindset
European companies and space investments could capture a unique market opportunity: ”we need a bold and lean mindset – from political leadership to legacy industry and venture capitalists and funding programmes” said Renato Panesi , D-Orbit, in one of the panels.
👉 European strategic collaboration
Following up on the Bremen meeting with our regional cluster partners in S3P Space, a thematic smart specialization platform initiated by the European Commission to support strategic partnerships and match complementary regional capabilities for a stronger hashtag european upstream value chain.
👉A Sweden pavillion in 2026? This year, we have met many Swedish colleagues – from award-winning startups Arctic Space and Vimotek to industrial players like SSC – Swedish Space Corporation and Saab. Next year we’re hoping for a national pavilion to showcase what Sweden and the Nordics has to offer the European space community.
